The number of deaths from coronavirus in the UK has increased by to 45,554.
A further 53 deaths associated with Covid-19 have been identified in the last 24 hours. In UK hospitals 32,855 people have died from the deadly bug.
The UK's major supermarkets have issued guidance about who needs to wear masks in store as rules surrounding face coverings change from tomorrow.
From Friday it will be mandatory in England to wear masks or another protective covering in shops and supermarkets. Supermarkets like Asda, Aldi, Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl will be following the guidance from the Government on this matter, and have also got special rules in place for staff.
