Coronavirus cases are once again on the rise in the UK amid fears of a second wave, even as people return to work and students return to schools and universities.
Recent days have also seen controversy over a shortage of tests, leading to queues at testing sites and other people unable to book one near to them, and being sent to testing centres up to 100 miles away.
Of course those who test positive, or live with someone who tests positive for the virus, face a period of self-isolation and need to stay off work or school – but what about those who get a negative result?
